Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey (which is the ancient symbol of Jewish royalty) and as He did so, a great multitude came out to greet The Master and carpeted the path before Him with palm leaves, branches, and even their own garments. Matthew 21:7-7
As he entered people shouted "Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!"
"Hosanna to the Son of David: blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest." Psalm 118:25
