I'm a Swede

Well, I guess its time for an update.
This is Owen packed in the car with all of our stuff
We left a week ago today (I can't believe that was only a week ago).
We had 6 suitcases, a stroller, a carseat, a diaper bag, eric's briefcase and my carry on/purse thing.
And Owen
Eric pushing all our things through the airport.  I have the diaper bag, my bag, and Owen in the stroller.
This was the bassinet they have on the airplane.  On our flight from
Detroit to Amsterdam he slept in this most of the time.
It was REALLY nice.

Owen actually did really great on the airplanes.  Yes, all 4 of them.  He slept on all of them except the first one, when he read his book.
At the airport in Amsterdam.  He was super happy (unlike me).
This was one of my first purchases in Sweden.  One of the only  things that looked familiar.  I needed it.
After we got home it was only 3 in the afternoon so we couldn't just go to bed like I wanted to.  We came home and unpacked a little.  Our cute neighbors (the branch president's family) bought us a few groceries and some flowers to welcome us.  It was such an answer to my prayer!  Yogurt and milk just for owen.  It was awesome.
We went out to eat (but didn't really feel like eating) so Eric took me to this salad bar inside this grocery store and it was so nasty.  It was just a flashback of the first night of the mission all over again.  I was so grumpy because I was so tired.  and hungry.  Then we went to bed.
The next morning we drove to ikea.  its an hour and half drive so owen slept the whole way there.  and back.  he's so cute in his carseat.

Here are some pictures from the drive.
I felt so at home. It was so fun!
We bought a lot.  and Eric put everything together.  He's so good to me.
Owen loves his new high chair
View from our apartment.
We bought him this little suit before we left.  We put him in it everytime we leave the house.  Its pretty chilly here.  I love this suit because it makes him look like a little baby again! He's just so cute in it!
Our apartment is coming together nicely.  We love it a lot.  We may need to make another trip out to ikea soon but its really cute!  We're loving it!
Entry way in the church.
Primary room.
The Church house in our town.  Its just a little branch but it was fun.  Again it reminded me of the first Sunday in my mission.  I didn't understand a thing!

Sorry for the picture overload!  So far so good!  Some days are harder than others but we're adjusting ok.  Owen is still struggling sleeping through the night (never had this problem his whole life) so hopefully he'll get over this soon.  Love you all and miss you!
