I don't think it needs to be said but, although I love being back with Owen and Eric, being back in Sweden has made me real sad. I just feel lonely and out of place here. Days are pretty boring. We usually just do the same things every single day. Naps, Cars, Cars 2, play with Cars, and the park. Not to mention every since I've been back the weather has be overcast and cold and sometimes even rainy. Not how I want to spend my summer. But Saturday... Saturday was the PERFECT day.
Eric let Owen and I sleep in until 11 (yes, even Owen) and we got caught up on some MUCH needed sleep and the sun was SHINING! FINALLY! We went right out on our bikes and rode some trails through the forest and actually got HOT so we went back, got our swimsuits and hit the beach!

That face.... He usually makes it whenever I pull out the camera |

If you look very closely you can see a naked boy running on the dock. (Swedish children like to beach nakey) |
 |
He loves wearing my sunglasses |

They have these chairs on the dock at the North Harbor but they're always taken. We rode by and they were vacant so we HAD to stop and enjoy the view. |

This weekend Eric's coworkers girlfriend came in town so we went on a double date on the Laponia. Its a boat that goes down the Archipelago for 3 hours and includes an all you can eat shrimp buffet. It was EPIC. But really, it was really fun to go out (without babe) and enjoy the company of some friends. We LOVE double dates.

I think we're cute. obviously |
Sunday. Sundays are hard but this little guy is too cute to handle. We put him in nursery early but he's not so good in there either. He doesn't like to be locked in a room as small as a closet and he doesn't like to be forced to sit down and listen to lessons or sing songs or color or even eat. Spoiled kid.

This is a daily occurrence. |

I just had to include this picture because when I go in to get him in the morning he just points at his bookshelf and says "book". So I give him some books and he "reads" them. For a LONG time. |
dude- the sun totally affects my well-being dramatically! I'm sending the sun-vibes your way :) love that last pic. And Just have to comment that your hubby reminds me a bit of your brother! you guys are cute:) and your last post was fun to browse through to see how all your family's changed!
ReplyDeleteOh man...we miss you around here. I can't even imagine how hard it must be, but you are awesome! The boat ride/shrimp buffet sounds amazing and you looked smokin' hot in polka dots! I love all the pictures of Owen. He is such a cutie! We love you and can't wait to see you next month.
