Happy Halloween

I have been trying all day to not be sad that I'm not in America today to celebrate Halloween.  If you know me, you know that
I. LOVE. HOLIDAYS!
I've been trying not to think about dressing Owen up and going to E's office to go trick-or-treating.  Trying not to think about going to my neighborhood BBQ at the Henderson's.  Trying not to think about putting Owen in a cute costume and going trick-or-treating.
But its hard.
At least I have a Halloween shirt for the little guy.  Its a skeleton and it says BOO.
I'll ask Owen whats on his shirt and he'll say "BOO!"
Its adorable.
I even miss these little boogs. Halloween in an Elementary school is like the best day ever.  We just parade and play and party.  Not a day goes by when I don't miss Legacy Elementary and my job but holidays especially.
For a couple years we had a tradition of going to Lagoon on Halloween.  It was a good couple years.  I sure did miss Frightmares this year.
We've just had a relaxing day (not much to do around here) trying not to be homesick.
I made some Halloween cupcakes and a potroast for the 4 missionaries tonight.
I'm grateful for this opportunity to live in Sweden but some days its hard.

BUT I'll end the night watching Hocus Pocus with my delicious husband tonight and one day we'll be back in America and Owen will be able to dress up and go trick-or-treating.
Today, life is good.
I hope y'all have a great Halloween!
