Laundry

Here in the Galaren apartments laundry times are in 4 or 5 hour increments.  They used to be 5 hours so we did 5-10pm and it was perfect for us.  Well, they changed the times so you can choose between...
6-10 am (yea right)
10-2 pm
2-7 pm
7-12 am
Not great.
We usually do the 2-7 so Eric can at least help with the last part because it can get hard trying to carry the laundry while trying to control Owen to the basement, through the garage (filled with his most favorite things in the world - cars), through the hallway to the laundry room every 40 minutes.

Anyways, 

Today was our laundry day.  BUUUUT I also got asked for FIKA at my friends home and, hello, actually something to do. With people. Somewhere besides our house. 

We just couldn't pass it up. 

So we went to fika at 2 and I thought,

"I'll be back at 4 and still have 3 hours to do a couple loads of laundry". 

Right? 

     Wrong! 

I got home around 3:45, put Owen down for a nap, collected all the laundry and made my way to the basement to find that someone else had snagged my machines.  

Swedes...

And of course all the laundry times tomorrow are filled so I guess we'll have to try again on Thursday

Moral of the story, don't take for granted your own washer and dryer in your homes.
