Again?! That jet setter Eric. Well I'd love to hear what advice you get because I have the same problem. I wimped out when I heard Bri had another conference, and I asked my mom to come visit. I've also had Annabelle come sleep with me. Not Liddy though. She's horrible to sleep with. Good thing you have a cute stud muffin named Owen to protect you.
When we were first married, Greg was gone a fair amount (hunting, of course) and I would get so scared! I would sleep with all the lights on and a phone in my hand. Embarrassing, but true! I had to toughen up when we had to live apart for 6 months, but I would still pray my guts out every night and sleep with a light or two on. Sometimes I will still go down to my parents' house and sleep there when Greg is gone. Mostly more because it's fun than I'm scared, but whatever works, right? Good luck!
I have the perfect solution for you this time: Bring Owen up and stay with us for a few days. Greg would be happy to have a few extra bodies to protect with his arsenal and we could eat at Fredrico's and Angie's and hang out. :)
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has this problem. I've considered taking karate or jujitsu. For now I settle with sleeping with a light on, putting a golf club under the bed, and taking nyquil....horrible I know
