Lori's big day

I know this wedding happened over a month ago and I realize I'm just now getting to blogging about it.  I was waiting for Lori to send me pictures and it never happened so I guess I'll just have to make due. I traveled for 24 hours and got to Utah late Wednesday night.  The trip and time difference is just so hard on Owen (and I vowed I would never make that trip alone with Owen) and Eric had to work so I came alone.  Of course I missed my boys but it was really fun to just be with my sisters and be able to help Lori so much - childless.  And of course have sleepovers with Emmy. Thursday I just hung out with my sisters and chilled.  We did last minute wedding stuff and I got my hair done.  That night we went to dinner as a family. It was so fun to all be together without kids.  I have the funnest family ever.

Friday morning we woke up bright and early to travel to PROVO to get Lori's hair and makeup done. I don't know why she decided to go down to Provo to do it but she did a great job and Lori looked STUNNING all day. It was so fun, again, that I was able to go with her.

After the hair and makeup apt we went to the Luncheon.  It was so fun to be with all my siblings and be Emily's date all day.  It was much needed Emmy time before she left.
Aaron did a great job.  He made us laugh and made me cry (I'm the biggest baby) and was able to not only introduce all of HIS family but also ALL of ours.  He's a stud.
The reception was absolutely beautiful!  It was at the Woods on Ninth just like Cha's was.  So many of you know that I really want to be a wedding planner when I get back to Utah and Lori's was like the first wedding I actually got to really help with.  I won't say I planned the whole thing but it was fun to be a part of it and help Lori.  We had a hard time with the people from the Woods on Ninth but in the end, it was great.

I just love this bunch.

Instead of a guest book she had people sign on quilt squares and are being made into a quilt.  Such a cute idea!
Our good family friend Laurie Egbert did her flowers.  She did mine for my wedding too.  She's so good! They're so beautiful!
This was her cute candy buffet.

I just love my little Lori.  I remember when she was a baby and we would do her hair with a little ponytail on top of her head and call it her spout.  She was the best toddler and never cried and we would just throw her around and play with her and she would just laugh and laugh.  I remember giving her baths and tucking her in bed at night.  Having dance parties and making up dances for her and Emmy.  Helping her with volleyball (until she got better than me).  I remember doing her hair for her school dances.  I just love her more than I could ever say.  She's the best.  It was such a special day for me because she found someone who is amazing as she is and it makes my heart so happy.  I could not be more thrilled for these two.  I love them both to pieces.  Congrats guys!
